Application Procedures

The following procedures apply for all prospective students wishing to apply for admission into Basic Technician Certificate in Customs and Tax Management at the Institute of Tax Administration.

a)    All Candidates should apply direct to the Institute of Tax Administration.

b)    Applicants are encouraged to apply through the ITA online application system available through: www.ita.ac.tz

c)    The online application fee (Tsh 10,000) is payable through Mpesa, TigoPesa or Airtel Money.  The application fee is non-refundable.

d)    Alternatively, applicants may download the forms from ITA website: www.ita.ac.tz or pick them at the Campus located at Mikocheni B Area, Dar es Salaam. The applications must be accompanied with evidence of payment of a non-refundable application fee of Tshs. 10,000/= for East African or US$ 10 for non–East African. The fee may be paid at any CRDB Bank Branch in favour of ITA FEES COLLECTION ACCOUNT No. 0150303205600

e)    Applications should be made and submitted to ITA before the set deadline.

 

Registration: 

Successful applicants will be registered only after they have paid the requisite fees as per

the Institute’s requirements.

 

Application information for International Students

ITA welcomes students from foreign countries. Special arrangements are available for international students to support their application processes and smooth take-off of their studies and life in Tanzania. Interested prospective students from foreign countries may apply directly for admission into ITA programs by downloading and submitting application forms with required documents. Application forms can be downloaded through general application procedures and regulations 

Prospective international students who acquired their academic qualifications outside Tanzania are required to submit their degree awards to the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) through  http://www.tcu.go.tz/index.php/how-do-i-accreditation-and-quality-assurance.html?id=122. Diploma and professional certificate  awards are submitted  to the National Council Technical Education (NACTE) whereas  Secondary School awards should be submitted to the National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA) for evaluation.
